How You Doin ^.- hey all, just got back from LA and it was fuuuun went down there for Anime Expo and a big naruto ccg tounament altho strangely enuff i'm not feeling the same .. sadness? that i felt when fanime ended, did i have less fun at anime expo? no idea but i kno for sure both were fun, especially cosplayin for the first time at a con
here's piccies for you non-facebook users ^^ it took me like two hours to figure out how to tie sasuke's belt i mean its not as easy as it looks, two ends, two loops, and two ropes in the back i even looked up tutorials online.. but they sucked >.< haha i impovised and got pretty close if not dead on only problem is that my "big long purple dong" (i think that's how rach put it) was too thick so it looked a lil awkward with the knot iono how nadia does like 2-4 costumes at these events i only had enuff room in my bag for just the one costume the sword gave me the biggest grief since i wasn't sure if i could get it on the plane, then i wasn't sure if they'd let me carry it around cuz the sword is actually a real sword (non-sharpened) but still a sword. but it all worked out in the end, and honestly i'm really glad i bought it cuz the cosplay is a lil boring without it.
a few of the lowlights: it sucks not having a car, we didn't want to rent becuz our hotel was sorta close to the convention center, but we taxi~ed cuz the walk would've sucked, a good half hour walk my sasuke cosplay isn't complete, missing arm bands and sandals i placed 23rd out of 88 ppl in the naruto ccg tournament but john place 3rd !! OH SNAP!! since we took so many taxis and ate out so much.. i'm poor -.-
overall it was a fun fun experience and would love to do it again OH ANIME CONVENTIONS!! all those wasted years !! they're so fun !! next stop.. Yaoicon? mebbe.. just mebbe
OMG 0.0 3Gs?!? jay bought me the new iPhone 3Gs for our 18 monthsaversary !! that boy.. spoils me, way more than i deserve to be but hey i'll take what i can get ^^ he's such an awesome boyfriend i'm soooo excited for this phone, altho i ph33r all the bugs there might be but at the same time, i'm tired of my iPhone OG (original gangsta) so honestly it can't be any worse, but i do have one concern i told myself i wouldn't buy any APPS for the iPhone until i got a better iPhone and now.. i'm gonna have this and i fear i will go broke soooo fast. plus we're going to Anime Expo july 4th weekend so there's goin to be some dents all around plus he's even talking about going to GenCon which is in indianapolis, indiana wherever that is lol no honestly iono what's happenening with our youth i have two friends that play naruto ccg with me and they both didnt know where the hell indianapolis was.. one of em didn't kno where indiana was. T.T
in other news i've been on a mini american idol spree been listening to a lot of adam lambert and just today i gave kris allen a chance he did a cover of kanye west's heartless and i'm lovin it, i bought it on iTunes its strange becuz i hate the song heartless by kanye but that's cuz it just gets so repetitive "lost his soul to a woman so heartless heartless heartless heartless heartless heartless heartless heartless heartless heartless heartless heartless heartless heartless heartless heartless heartless heartless heartless" like seriously not even exaggerating -.- , but i'm loving the slow jam version

last night i had to stay til 11 since my coworker called in sick that bitch but on the other hand it was cool becuz it was very light, and i basically got paid to surf the internet ^^ so what was i doing for about two hours? I yelped about my favorite restaurants Santa Ramen (duh) Kowloon Tong, Watami, and Little Lucca!! for those of you that don't know what Yelp is its a website based off the masses!! its a gathering of opinions given by the people FOR the people!! and you don't have to review just restaurants you can review other businesses and events, i reviewed my favorite place in jtown PIKA PIKA!! and i also reviewed Sky High in Santa Clara T.T you can read about that.. and apparently you can even review SUSAN BOYLE haha i just found that out today, amazing woman she is oh mangoes.. she gives me chills if you don't know who she is, WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE?! i realize tho.. that she's not a great singer per say as far as great singers go, don't get me wrong she's a good singer its more of the fact that when you first watch her you think she looks ridiculous, i mean seriously she put her ID number on her chest!! ITS A STICKER!! but when that music starts playin and she starts singing and you hear that applause.. you wish you were there applauding with them .. i kno i did.
anywayz as for other stuff, i'm still with jay (anyone shocked?) haha we're still going and almost hitting our year and a half mark in July OY!! we'll be celebrating that in LA when we go to Anime Expo haha what a way to celebrate ya? nothing like cosplayers and cross dressers and crossplayers!! (eh eh rach eh eh?) haha but ya. i'm also going to Fanime next month, so these will be my first anime conventions EVUR!! i still haven't decided what to cosplay i spent a lot of money on Shippuden Sasuke costume but then realized that the Sword is what makes the costume and you're not allowed to bring real swords to the event T.T so iono, hopefully i'll figure out something
It's that time of the year When.. i actually make a post lol and also that time to pre reg for classes .. well if i was still in school anyway
i found out my early reg is may 1st 10:00 i'm assumin they mean AM..
i kno in this economy its important to have a good resume so that you can get a good job because nowadays it's hard just to keep one and having AT LEAST an Undergrad (even tho that's not much these days) would be better than nothing.. and i kno if i actually get my Undergrad i would be so happie with myself and i kno my parents and friends would be too
BUT
there are just so many things keeping me from wanting to go back .. one of the biggies.. financials i've been paying for my schooling with a lil help from my parents but mostly from work they do tuition reimbursments up to $3000 a year but as all us State kids kno.. its been a long time since semester tuition was < $1500 so each year i'm losing money essentially from going to school, and also having to buy books which is just RIDICULOUSLY expensive.. but essential but then there's the saying, gotta spend money to make money which brings me to my next point is.. if i don't pass my class, there's a chunk of money that isn't reimbursed back to me which has happened this last semester when i failed DS 212 for the second freaking time.. i swear me and math.. i used to be soooooo good at it Mr. Magee used to be my FAVORITE teacher back in high school.. then that DOUCHE MR. BARBOUR came .. and that was all bad. and now i hear that rule about you're only allowed to retake a class once now? instead of twice? so i'm not even sure if i can take DS 212 again since i failed it twice already..
and finally the biggest reason why i just suck at school i'm the master procrastinator.. not to mention i hate to work >.< i'm soooo lazy.. honestly, going to school and working at FedEx just takes its toll on me, and all i want to do is relax during my free time and have fun with friends. i don't want to study like i should be, or do my homework.
its been five years since i graduated from high school and i'm only a junior right now..
